Time

As part of the design development process Bignell Shacklady Ewing have collaborated with lighting, laser and video installers Leisure Installation 6 Service. Lighting effects at Time feature products from a wide range of manufacturers. Martin MAC250s and Robocolour 3s, High End Studio Spots, Clay Paky Atlas and SGM flasher strobes all combine to perform a myriad of effects within the club, whilst outside a Studio Due Skytracker system fills the Norwich sky line with beams that seem to stretch as far as London. "The Studio Spots and MAC250s complement each other perfectly," comments LIS’s Bob Walters. ’The effect created at Time reinforces our philosophy that by cherry picking the very best products from each manufacturer’s range, we can provide the best effect."

Time represents the first UK laser installation for LIS, as partner Bob Rooke confirms: "Our first laser install has been greatly assisted by Laser Innovations and presented a major challenge in terms of the Health & Safety implications which were involved. The combination of laser show and lighting effects has produced a stunning display." Soundwise, Time has received a full install by those busy boys (and girls) from CVA. The main dancefloor features an extremely focused system with speaker clusters flown around the perimeter, whilst peripheral areas and the lounge zone are treated to a less 'in yer face' effect.
